Cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM) is a linear polymer compound. Because it has a variety of active groups, it can affinity with many substances and adsorb to form hydrogen bonds. It is mainly a colloidal negatively charged colloid with functions such as turbidity removal, decolorization, adsorption and adhesion. It is suitable for organic colloidal content in dyeing, paper making, food, construction, metallurgy, mineral processing, coal powder, oil field, aquatic product processing and fermentation. High wastewater treatment, especially suitable for dewatering of municipal sewage, municipal sludge, paper sludge and other industrial sludge.
The dosage range of varies from 0.2 - 3.0 ppm depending upon the type of effluent and application. It is always advised to do a jar test for evaluating the functioning and approximate dosage.
Put sample of effluent in a beaker and add it as designated, agitate for 1 minute at 100-120 rpm and then slowly agitate at 60rpm. Determine the floc properly at this time and note the sedimentation and clarity of top solution.

3. Add water to the specified location and adjust to a specific concentration.
4. Continue stirring until the high molecular weight flocculated polymer is completely dissolved.
