    Introduction Of  Non-ionic PAM

    Non-ionic polyacrylamide is homopolymer formed of acrylamide, with high purity, good solubility and high molecular weight. This series of products are with high molecular weight polymer and liner polymer low ion degree. Because of its special groups, and endow it with flocculation, dispersion, thickening and bonding.

     

    Mainly used in industrial solid-liquid separation process as a flocculating agent, including settlement, clarification, concentrate and sludge dewatering processes.

     

    The polyacrylamide (PAM) , is one kind of water soluble polymer, according to the different ion characteristics, PAM has three types: Anionic PAM, Cationic PAM and Nonionic PAM.

    Application and Dosage

    1. Sewage treatment agent:
    When sewage shows acidic suspension use as flocculant with best efforts. Especially with the use of inorganic flocculant with best efforts.


    2. Textile Industry:
    Add some other chemicals may be formulated into a chemical slurry, for textile sizing, Sand control and sand-fixation:
    At a certain concentration by adding crosslinking agent, spraying in the desert, the solidified films can control and fixing sand. In arid areas, can be used as agents of soil moisture, can also be used in the construction industry, construction glue, interior wall paint and so on.

     

    3.Non-ionic PAM can cross bridge with many small particles or oil droplets in polluted water through its long macromolecular chain . In disposal of oil polluted water,the non-ionic PAM is usually aided by aluminium salt, and have better efficiency than APAM.


    4.The optimum dosage should be definited by experiment before using. It wouldn't take into effect , whether more or less than the optimum dosage , even appear dispersion and stabilization when the dosage is more.

    6.Non-ionic PAM as high selectivity AeroflocsIt is used in the low-solid-phase mud from artesian well with altamud applied , because it can flocculate the rock fragments cracked and will not change the dispersed status of altamud.

     

     

    The dosage range of varies from 0.2 - 3.0 ppm depending upon the type of effluent and application. It is always advised to do a jar test for evaluating the functioning and approximate dosage.

    Jar Test

    Put sample of effluent in a beaker and add it as designated, agitate for 1 minute at 100-120 rpm and then slowly agitate at 60rpm. Determine the floc properly at this time and note the sedimentation and clarity of top solution.
