Application:
UV-531 strongly absorbs ultraviolet light with a wavelength of 270-340 nm and is widely used in various synthetic materials such as plastics, synthetic fibers, rubber resins, plexiglass, coatings and petroleum products. In particular, it is an indispensable raw material for industries such as polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, unsaturated resin, ABS resin, epoxy resin, phenolic resin, paraffin, cosmetics, and plastic products for food contact. UV-531 is non-toxic and generally used in an amount of 0.1-0.5%. However, it may be appropriately increased or decreased depending on the specific conditions.
