    A light stabilizer is a substance that enhances the light stability of a polymer material. It can shield ultraviolet light waves and reduce the transmission of ultraviolet rays; or can strongly absorb high-energy ultraviolet rays (wavelength 290-400μm) for energy conversion, releasing energy in the form of heat or harmless longer-wavelength light; Quickly quench the excited state of the polymer that has been excited by ultraviolet light, returning to a stable ground state; or can effectively capture the radicals generated by the ultraviolet light-initiated polymer, thereby protecting the polymer material from The role of UV damage. In addition to protecting the polymer material, the light stabilizer can also be used to protect the package from UV damage and to be used as an essential component in the filter.
    The light stabilizer hardly absorbs ultraviolet light which can cause aging of the plastic to prevent the aging of the plastic. The mechanism of action of the light stabilizer is that it can effectively capture the radicals generated by the plastic itself caused by ultraviolet light, thereby preventing the occurrence of a chain reaction that causes aging of the plastic.
