    Applications of  Antioxidant 3114

    • The antioxidant 3114 is a trifunctional hindered phenol type antioxidant, which is non-polluting and non-colored. Since the molecular weight and the melting point are high, the volatility is extremely small, the mobility is small, and the water extraction resistance is good, and the plastic is excellent in thermal oxidation resistance and photooxidation resistance. This product can be used in contact with food polyolefin products (contact with fatty and non-fat foods). Suitable for polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, ABS resin, polyester, nylon, polyvinyl chloride, polyurethane, cellulose plastic and synthetic rubber, especially in polyolefins. It is generally used in an amount of 0.1 to 0.25%, and has a synergistic effect with a UV absorber or a phosphite to further improve photothermal stability.
    • Use It is mainly used as an antioxidant for polypropylene, polyethylene, etc., and has both heat and light stability. When used, it has a synergistic effect with light stabilizers and auxiliary antioxidants. This product is low in toxicity. Polyolefin products that can be used in contact with foods in an amount not exceeding 15% of the main material.
