    Introduction Of  Amphoteric PAM

    Amphoteric Ion Polyacrylamide is a linear polymer formed by copolymerization of cationic monomer, acrylamide monomer and hydrolyzing agent.

    Amphoteric Ion Polyacrylamide has the functions of decolorization, adsorption, turbidity removal, and adhesion. It is an amphoteric irregular polymer with both positive and negative charges on the molecular chain.

     

    It is mainly used in oil field profile control and water blocking agent, combined with cross-linking agent, stabilizer and coagulant to form high-strength gelling agent water blocking agent with important polymer gel and resin gel. It blocks the pores and cracks of the formation through attachment, physical blockage, etc., adjusts the proportion, and can control the gel time to adapt to different geological conditions. Treatment of various oils, organic, inorganic, sewage, and complex sewage. In a wastewater system where the pH varies. Used for sludge dewatering. Used in papermaking aids.

     

     

     

     

    Application and Dosage

    Metallurgical Mineral Dressing: It can be used in floatation and smelting of Zinc, manganese and copper mines, its leachate and slag can be added into PAM to improve the separation efficiency.

     

    Sand Prevention and Solidification: The nonionic-polyacrylamide is dissolved into 0.3% concentration, cross-linking agent is added, and the product can be sprayed on desert to prevent and solidify sand.

     

    Chemical mudding agent: 9.5 share nonionic-polyacrylamide is used and is mixed to 0.5share NN-methylene diacrylamide, the product can be used as chemical mudding agent for plugging water of dikes, ground foundation, channels and the like.

     

    Oil field profile controlling and water-plugging agent: The product can be matched with lignocellulose, a certain amount of chemical adhesive can be added, and the product can be used as oil field profile controlling and water-plugging agent.

     

    Soil humectant: It can preserve water and solidify sand for soil and can play a role of humectant on slope grass planting, tree planting, and sand solidification and dust prevention of soil.

     

    The dosage range of varies from 0.2 - 3.0 ppm depending upon the type of effluent and application. It is always advised to do a jar test for evaluating the functioning and approximate dosage.

    Jar Test

    Put sample of effluent in a beaker and add it as designated, agitate for 1 minute at 100-120 rpm and then slowly agitate at 60rpm. Determine the floc properly at this time and note the sedimentation and clarity of top solution.

    Precautions

    Instruction of Use

    1. Dissolution method: Before use, dissolve the solid particles into an aqueous solution of 1‰--5‰ concentration, so as to quickly exert its effectiveness. In the dosing, the method of gradually taking the family medicine should be adopted, and the water should be slowly poured into the water. Disperse evenly in water and dissolve.
    2. Stirring with a stirrer, and pouring the weighed polymer flocculant calmly and rapidly along the vortex edge generated by the stirring. It is very important that the polymer flocculant is completely mixed with the solvent before the viscosity of the solution becomes large.
    3. Add water to the specified location and adjust to a specific concentration.
    4. Continue stirring until the high molecular weight flocculated polymer is completely dissolved.

     

    What's the Functional Principle of Polyacrylamides?
    • Flocculation Mechanism:

    Adsorbing suspension particles, polymer chains entangle and cross-link each other to form bridging, and make flocculation structure enlarge and thicken, and has the functions of surface adsorption and electric neutralization.

    • Reinforcing Mechanism:

    PAM molecule chain and dispersed phase form bridging bond, ion bond and covalent bond to increase combination strength.
